Apostrophe?

We should check to see if Opie's is supposed to have an apostrophe in "Taylor's". It would make sense, but the sign does not.

authority?

Just checked the phone book (SBC yellow pages), they are listed as "Opie Taylor's" in there. Authoritative? Chris 18:32, 15 February 2006 (GMT)

Looks good to me. Someone needs to tell the new owner. :-) -Chrobb 02:39, 16 February 2006 (GMT)

Confusing Topic

This evening I happened to be walking by there and went in and asked the hostess. They are all messed up. The outdoor sign doesn't have an apostrophe, the hours sign does, the menu does, some signs inside do and the hostess also found it confusing. The owner wasn't there to decide. But I think they haven't made a ruling on it yet. ;-) I think we should look at older phone books with the older owner in it to see what they did. If it has changed then that almost makes it a new restaurant. -- Mark 05:07, 16 February 2006 (GMT)

Move

I couldn't recognize the photo, and then I googled around and found they moved south about a block, which explains things. When did that happen? Is the food any different? I think I only went there a couple of times the whole time I lived there. --Jkonrath 15:24, 11 May 2006 (EDT)

I'm prety sure the owner changed along with the move and I've heard that the recipe's changed a bit. I've not noticed a difference, but I don't each there that often. The new owner is a big Cubs fan and has all sorts of Cubs memorabilia on the walls. -Chrobb 15:35, 11 May 2006 (EDT)
