From Bloomingpedia
May Building

The May Building was a concrete block building on South Walnut Street, just south of The Chocolate Moose. It comprises the addresses 405 S. Walnut Street, 405 1/2 S. Walnut Street, and 407 S. Walnut Street. It was home to Lefferson Electronics, Ocean Midwest Mortgage, and EBS Bookkeeping.

Previously it was home to the Monroe County Mental Health Association and First Horizon Home Loans.

In 1940, the Russell May Used Car Company opened a sales and service headquarters for Hudson cars at the location.

The building was demolished to make way for an apartment building.
