WQAX "Quacks" was an Cable FM radio station at frequency 100.3MHz that started broadcasting in 1973 and ended in 1993. It was volunteer driven, free form, and offered a way for many people to learn about radio. The station was run from an apartment at one point, but lived most of its life in the Student Union. The 100.3 FM frequency was later replaced in March, 2005 by WIUS.
