Indiana Daily Student (2006-2010)

In January 2008, Brosher was the Visual/Multimedia Director at the newspaper, a position that was created to oversee online content and projects. In the semesters that followed, he worked as a photo editor and web editor at the newspaper.

Brosher helped redesign the Indiana Daily Student's Web site in 2009 along with fellow students Larry Buchanan and Ben Phelps.

In his three years at the IDS, Brosher covered a wide range of assignments, including Indiana University sports.

Herald-Times (2010)

A few days into the Spring 2010 semester, Brosher left the IDS to start an internship at the Herald-Times. His internship ended after his graduation from IU in May 2010.

On May 15, 2010, Brosher received the Indiana Associated Press Managing Editors Will Counts Photojournalism Award, an honor given to the state's top student photojournalist.

Brosher was named the 2009 Indiana College Photographer of the Year, as awarded by the Indiana News Photographers Association for his year's portfolio of work.

On Jan. 23, 2009, he took a photo of IU students having a snowball fight in Dunn Meadow. This photo later appeared on MSNBC's This Week in Pictures.

In April 2008, Brosher won the Associated Press-Indiana photo of the month for a photo of Barack Obama at the 2008 Women's Little 500 race.
