Irving Fell

Irving Fell (1909-1979) was born in Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Bloomington in 1917. A businessman and violin player, Fell owned the Fell Iron & Metal company and was married to professional violinist Rose Fell. The couple had three children, Roberta Fell, Arthur Fell, and Eleanor Fell.

In 2002 the Rose and Irving Fell Violin Scholarship was created in the couple's honor at the Jacobs School of Music.
