Fun Fact

Woolworth acquired a lot of other companies in the 70s and 80s. When they closed their last Woolworth department store, they changed the name of the parent company to Venator, which became a holding company for its subsidiaries. In 2001, Venator changed its name to its best-performing subsidiary, which was Foot Locker. So technically, this means Foot Locker assumed the Woolworth corporate history, and is now a 105-year old corporation. --Jkonrath (talk) 18:22, 21 May 2019 (EDT)
