John Fernandez

John Fernandez was mayor of Bloomington from 1995 to 2004. Currently an attorney at the Indianapolis law firm Krieg Devault, Fernandez earned all of his degrees from Indiana University, and graduated from the IU law school in 1992. Prior to being elected mayor, he served on the Bloomington City Council for five years. He also serves as Senior Vice President for Business Development at Finelight Strategic Marketing Communications in Bloomington and First Capital Group.
He is married to the former Karen Howe, and they have two children.
