Upland Brewing Company

From Bloomingpedia
(Redirected from Upland Brewery)

Upland Brewing Company is a brew-pub and restaurant located at 350 W 11th St.

Upland serves a variety of craft and seasonal ales brewed on site. Some of Upland's flagship beers include their Upland Wheat, Bad Elmer's Porter, and Dragonfly IPA. Seasonal beers have included their Winter Warmer, Bock, and Saison ales.

In addition to beer, Upland serves a full lunch and dinner menu. Menu items include the Porter Roasted Turkey Salad, Fish and Chips, Upland Nachos, Beef, Buffalo and Black Bean burgers, Schnitzle, and calamari.

The interior of Upland is cozy, with continuous windows on the West and South facing walls. Due to Upland's popularity among Bloomingtonians, wait times are not uncommon during peak dinner hours.

In addition to restaurant seating, Upland has a bar available for those interested in beer only. Growlers (Glass jars) may be purchased and refilled at Upland for beer takeout, and Upland's beers are also available bottled at Big Red and other liquor stores, and on tap at other Bloomington eateries including Bear's Place.

Upland is located in the former Graphic Impressions printing plant. Owner Marc Sattinger converted and refurbished the building in 1997.

Brewery Tours are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 3-5pm.
