WQAX "Quacks" was an Cable FM radio station at frequency 100.3MHz that started broadcasting in 1973 and ended in 1993. It was volunteer driven and privately funded. The station was run from an apartment, was free form and offered a way for many people to learn about radio. The 100.3 FM frequency was later replaced in March, 2005 by WIUS.
