Projects Portal?

The first RootsCamp came and went with few attendees, but lots of quality in the participants and conversation. One of the outcomes of the conversation is a need to have some central, reliable information portals. Bloomingpedia, if it follows the Wikipedia model, would certainly be a good main source for information about the city, but is there a place for something beyond that? For all of Monroe County? For political and community projects? Is there room for a local blogger aggregate, and integration with other forums? Any thoughts on this? --Kevin 10:15, 22 November 2006 (EST)

Kevin, this is a discussion that is suited for the Bloomingpedia Fora, http://forums.bloomingpedia.org/ . On the fora, lots of people can have a discussion about the topics you bring up here.
