I think that we have a good start yet, but I don't think this article is ready to be a featured article. It needs more stuff. The pictures are great (thanks User:Ceeller) and the structure of the article is laid out, now it just needs more summary, historical information and maybe some other items like what groups meet there besides just BLUG. I'll write to Steven Backs, he might be interested in spearheading some documentation about the library. -- Mark 16:05, 15 October 2006 (EDT)

2nd best source?

Any chance you have a source to cite on the 2nd best statistic? I wonder where it came from. -Chrobb 15:59, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Its in their 2006 annual report and here. If you look down the list, the 100k category has MCPL listed 2nd in that section. 100k is the 100,000 to 249,999 population category. Actually, the annual report says this is the third year in a row that its been in the top 10. Although from looking at that list, it is only the 2nd time they appear. Pretty good though. I got this annual report at a focus group that I was invited to, in order to help determine the direction of the Library. ;-) -- Mark 17:52, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
To add a bit to this, doing some quick data analysis of that list, it looks like by score, it is ranked the 68th best library in the country out of all the categories. And its the 4th best of all libraries that server populations of over 100k people. In Indiana, overall its ranked 3rd. -- Mark 18:02, 4 August 2007 (EDT)
