Samuel Wylie

Samuel Wylie (ca. 1856 - July 14, 1933) was a Monroe County merchant and farmer.
Mr. Wylie owned a farm near Woodyard Road for many years, and was also proprietor of a grocery store and a partner of J.P. Shaffer in a store on the northeast corner of The Square.
He married Mrs. Lula Margaret Wylie and they had at least one son and daughter, Herman Wylie and Martha Wylie. Both became Presbyterian missionaries in China.
