One of a large chain of bakeries and cafes, the Eastland Plaza representative of Panera stocks all the staple bagel, coffee and sandwich entries of any good bakery. It opened in October of 2001 in an old auto parts store. The portobello and mozarella panini is an excellent vegetarian option.

Panera's parent company is based in St. Louis. The restaurant features free wireless internet access.
