Overview
The Near West Side neighborhood is located between the west side and the Bloomington city square. It begins at Rogers Street and heads west, running from Kirkwood Avenue up to 9th Street and over to Adams Street. It is populated by a mixture of students and families. The Salvation Army church, community center, childcare and thrift store are located within the Near West Side Neighborhood.
