Monroe County Plan Commission

The Monroe County Plan Commission is an advisory body to the County Commissioners. It reviews development proposals such as subdivisions and rezoning requests and makes recommendations to the commissioners. The commission also contains sub-committees, such as:
- Rural Community Advisory Committee
- Plan Review Committee - reviews zoning requests and monitors the Comprehensive Plan
- Plat Committee - reviews plat changes
