Mayor's Ride & Bike Show
Hosted by ABATE of Indiana Region 6, the annual Mayor's Ride & Bike Show highlights May as Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month as proclaimed by Mayor Mark Kruzan. It includes a bike show, short ride, and food. This year proceeds are split between ABATE motorcycle safety programs and other charities. Everyone gathers on the north side of the Courthouse Square. Registration is from 9:30 to 11:30am. The bike show usually occurs at that time.
Voting for the Bike Show is done in the following classes: Custom, Sportster, Dresser, Foreign, Antique, Ratt, Big Twin, and Mayor's Choice. The Mayor's Ride begins after voting from The Square out to BMG Avaition at the Monroe County Airport.
