Kerasotes Threatres was a regional movie theatre company based out of Illinois. They owned all major movie theaters in Bloomington for several years. At one point there were 4 movie theatres open simultaneously: the ShowPlaces East and West, and the Von Lee and College Mall locations which are now closed. In 2009, Kerasotes sold effectively all their theaters to entertainment conglomerate AMC Entertainment.
