Beryl Showers Holland

Beryl Showers Holland (b. 1881, d. 1964) was the founder of the Tri Kappa Philanthropic Sorority.

She was a 1992 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which her plaque reads "Honors (PRE-1946) Founder of Tri Kappa Philanthropic Sorority, member of many civic groups, member of the State Board of Education, first national committeewoman from Indiana for the Republican Party."

The daughter of Charles Hull Showers, she married Dr. James Holland in September of 1903, and they had one child, Dr. Charles Holland. He was later a city health officer.
