9th College 8th Walnut Block

This is the city block surrounded by College Avenue on the west, Walnut Street on the east, 8th Street on the south and 9th Street on the north. It is north of the Courthouse Square. Most of the west half of the block is taken up by Big Red Liquors, with a few houses on the south end. The block is situated on a steep grade rising to the east. The Big Red parking lot is flat, and ends at a high wall on the east end. An alley runs north-south down the middle of the block.
