Order of sections

Chris, I didn't realize that you were ordering the sections alphabetically. I was doing it by how wikipedia does it, for example the Wikipedia August 24 article orders it as events, births, deaths, holidays and external links. I don't have a problem with making it alphabetical or whatever, as long as births and deaths are in that order and next to each other. Fortunately, B and D work out in alphabetical order that way. And Events comes after that and Holidays would come after that.

I think I understand why Wikipedia would put events before births. Probably because events have more significance to everyone than one specific person's birthdate. Perhaps for city wikis it makes sense to be the other way around, because people can relate to people here more than events probably. -- Mark 20:20, 4 December 2006 (EST)

Mark, I didn't realize there was an established order already. I just saw an opportunity to put things in an alphabetical order. Your mention of the Wikipedia way makes sense as well. *shrug* We can probably do it either way and still have happy readers. Let's go with the alphabetical order. It will be easier to remember and be consistent. So the order will be Births, Deaths, Events, Holidays, External links (always at the end) -- Mark 00:50, 5 December 2006 (EST)
