File talk:Mystery-picture-200637.jpg

From Bloomingpedia

Intro: Its always amazing to me how you can live in a town for many years and never see someplace like this just because you never went up a small road. I hope that of all of them, this mystery picture of the week will encourage you to explore Bloomington to find all the places that you didn't realize existed. -- Mark

Hint #1: On the north side of Bloomington.

Hint #2: It is NOT around the Cyclotron Facility. Just wait.

Isn't that Griffy Lake? Jkonrath 15:26, 17 September 2006 (EDT)

nope, closer though than the Cyclotron. I'm not sure how long this place has been accessible to the public, it could be that its only been available for the past 10-15 years. -- Mark 16:04, 17 September 2006 (EDT)

Hint #3: Behind AIT

Thats a little gazeebo on an old quarry close to templeton school.--User:bluelitespecial2002 12:55, 22 September 2006 (edt)

Templeton? That school is on the south side on the corner of Hillside and Henderson. -- Mark 13:51, 22 September 2006 (EDT)
I found it! It's at the corner of Stonelake Circle and Stonelake Drive near Arlington School! I have to admit I cheated by googling AIT to find it. But I stopped by there today and took a couple pictures with my camera phone: [picture] Sorry about the low quality but like i said it was my camera phone :p. It's a nice scene though, I'm going to go back once I get my digital camera. --Griffeycom 12:31, 23 September 2006 (EDT)
RIGHT!! Like Griffeycom says, if you want to get there, just take Stonelake Drive of 46 and turn left before AIT and keep going. You'll see the lake on the left. -- Mark 16:41, 23 September 2006 (EDT)

Hidden, yet right next to everything.
